Plot[]
A new student care-worker named Jane arrives at Cliffside, which causes Bouncer to be love-stricken by her. He tries to write a poem to Jane, only to be caught by Layla. She decides to help him by finishing off the letter.
Bouncer then asks Marco to deliver it to Jane. However the Wellards decide to take advantage of the situation and write back themselves.
Meanwhile, Jane (whose family come from the same Caribbean island as Duke’s family) helps Duke out with his secret family recipe of "Knock Em Dead" soup, but Duke keeps struggling to find what special ingredient needs to be used, going as far as calling someone he calls “boss” for the information, until he figures out that it's "lady's fingers". This frightens Hayley as she thinks they're trying to poison the kids. Bouncer receives the Wellard's fake letter, which causes him to embarrass himself in front of Jane and Lol.
Hayley notices that Crash is lying with a stomach pain on the sofa, she then remembers that Duke gave him some soup to test it. Thinking it's proof that the food is poison, she confronts Duke about it. However he explains that it's just the soup's name and it's not actually poisoned, the “boss” is actually his aunt from the Caribbean (but he keeps it secret from Sid because he isn’t supposed to make international calls using the office phone), and the "lady's fingers" is actually okra.
Bouncer keeps sending Jane love letters, only for him to be sabotaged by the Wellards, when it goes to far, Lol and Layla fight them until they chicken out. They then head back to Cliffside to confront Bouncer about the situation.
At tea, Duke, Elaine, Sid and Jane sit down with the DG kids to some of Duke's soup. Bouncer gives Jane some chocolates as a sign of love, only to be interrupted by another new student named Francis. Sid invites her in for some soup. Francis causes Lol to fall into Bouncer's love-stricken mood before.
